12-B The W.W. Driggers Of Aiken Dies AIKEN Woodrow W. Driggers, 52, died Tuesday at Aiken Community Hospital. Born in Charleston County, he was a son of Mrs. Lila Dangerfield Driggers and the late Moses Driggers.

He was a retired parts manager of Bill Vernon Chevrolet Co. after 17 years of service and had been with Chevrolet for 26 years. Mr. Driggers was a member and past master of Aiken Masonic Lodge No. 156, A.F.M., a Master Mason, 32nd degree Scottish and York Rite and former president of the Aiken Shrine Club.

He was a member of Omar Temple at Charleston and a charter member of Jamil Temple at Columbia. He was also the co-founder of the Aiken Shrine Clowns. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Virginia Koon Driggers; five sons, Harvey E. Driggers of Kitchings Mill, Bobby W.

and Richard L. Driggers of Columbia and James W. and Randy Lee Driggers of Aiken; his mother of Summerville; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Driggers of Summerville and Mrs. Mildred Dyer of London, Ohio; two brothers, Moses E.

Ackerman, Prosperity, Dies PROSPERITY W.B. Ackerman 79, died Wednesday at Richland Memorial Hospital. Born in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Dr. William Boswell and Julia Folk Ackerman. He was a retired employee of Union Oil Columbia, a charter member of the Prosperity Volunteer Fire Department and an honorary member of the Prosperity Rescue Squad.

He was a member of the town council for 10 years, serving as mayor pro tem for four years. He was a member of Prosperity Masonic Lodge No. 115 and served as master for two terms. He was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are his widow.
