Your role in our team
- execution of repairs and maintenance assignments on electrical equipment, machines and systems

Ideal candidate profile

Position Overview:
As an Equipment Operator in ourProduction Team, it will be your responsibility to ensure the properfunctioning of the equipment, optimizing operations. Support thedaily operations by way of clearing system faults (technical or operational),identify areas of improvement, and monitoring material workflow using systemreports and dialogues.
Responsibilities:
- Report product and equipment issues in assigned areas
- Clear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner
- Work together with team members to ensure equipment faults are rectified
- Complete reports for damaged cases, and other general order-picking machine issues
- Learn and understand system widgets for reporting purposes
- Return all products and cases outside of automation to designated areas
- Regularly sweep floors, and remove dust from and underneath equipment and panels
- Monitor system performance and operational status
- Escalate repetitive faults
- Manipulate and drive system equipment as per system order message
- Provide feedback and updates on system performance
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program

Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Specific technical education is an asset
- Training in entry-level electromechanics an asset
- Technically and mechanically inclined
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights exceeding 20 meters after proper training, including working at heights, with personal protective equipment (PPE) provided including fall protection safety harness
- Must be able to work in conditions of +5C to -25C with personal protective equipment (PPE) provided including cold temperature gear, facial gear, gloves, and handwarmers
- Must be able to work days, evenings, nights and weekends
- Ability to travel for training if required
Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Technically and mechanically inclined
- Practical attitude and ability to learn new tasks, concepts and procedures
- PC skills in a Windows environment

PositionOverview
As an Automation Technician this role isin our Maintenance Team, and will be your responsible for troubleshooting andproviding maintenance repairs to the cranes and other automated machinerywithin the automated facility.
Requirements
- Perform preventative maintenance and unplanned electrical and mechanical repairs
- Electrically and mechanically maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment
- Perform planned maintenance on automated cranes, conveyors, and specialty equipment
- Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools to perform repairs
- Complete electrical and mechanical root cause analysis, fault finding and diagnosis, as well as recovery and resolution
- Analysis of component failures and single point of failure prevention and recurrences using system information
- Establish and improve inspection methods and component or process improvements through continues improvement program
- Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Responsible for system performance monitoring and operational status
- Collaborate with other technicians on mechanical and electrical problems
- Use Witron’s Computerized Management System for shift cross overs, tracking parts, and completing work orders
- Understand and follow site specific protocols and escalation procedures
- Perform maintenance as per structured maintenance schedule
- Document and complete planned repairs and maintenance activities
- Inspect, repair, and replace electrical and mechanical wear and spare parts inclusive of all set-ups and calibrations
- Perform maintenance related cleaning of equipment and provide support to equipment operators
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program

Qualifications
- 2-3 year degree or diploma in Electromechanical Engineering technology or equivalent OR Red seal endorsem*nt in Electrical 442A/ 309A / 5th year Industrial Electrician apprentice OR Red Seal endorsem*nt in Industrial Millwright or final year Industrial Millwright apprentice
- Training or certification in PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an industrial automation environment or manufacturing with both mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting and repair including motors, gearboxes, chains, bearings, shafts, sprockets, gears, belts, etc.
- Rigging and hoisting experience of loads up to 1 ton
- Experienced and comfortable working with AC voltages up to 480V and controls voltage of 24V
- Familiar and adaptability to the 5S system
- Welding experience considered an asset
- Physically able to lift 25kg unassisted, climb ladders and cranes
