Las Vegas knows how to throw a Halloween party. This year, bars and restaurants are hosting events that include costume contests, scary brunches, decorative takeovers, and magic shows.

Whether you’re looking for tricks or treats, here are 20 ways to celebrate Halloween in Las Vegas.

Special Events and Parties

Commonwealth will celebrate Halloween with a spooky burlesque spectacle on Fremont Street with Cauldron Noir. The burlesque and variety show will feature Halloween-themed dance, drag, contortion, and outrageous costumes. The two shows take place on Halloween night. Tickets for the 7 p.m. performance of Cervena Fox Presents Halloween Night can be purchased online here, while tickets for the 9 p.m. show can be purchased here.

Kassi Beach House’s annual ‘Haunted House Party’ returns on October 30. DJs will kick off the party at 7 p.m. and an open bar will run from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. for $40 per guest. Wear a Halloween costume for a chance to be entered into a $750 costume contest. Half-off pasta and cocktails start at 9 p.m. Reservations can be made online.

The Sand Dollar Lounge (3355 Spring Mountain Road) again becomes the Nightmare on Spring Mountain. The fan-favorite Las Vegas Halloween party takes over the bar with ample decorations, live music, specialty cocktails, and pizza ‚ kicking off nightly at 4 p.m.

Evel Pie (508 Fremont Street) is partnering with Black Lagoon for a splashy, gothic Halloween celebration throughout October. A spooky menu means super spicy Reaper wings and ten new cocktails.

The speakeasy-style 1923 Prohibition Bar at Mandalay Bay presents “Ghost Stories” with magician and mentalist, Kent Axell. Located in 1923’s Hidden Chamber, the experience includes magic and mind-reading. Additional show times have been added for October, from 8 and 10 p.m. Tickets range from $39 to $69 per person and can be purchased online.

From Tuesday, October 1 through Friday, November 1, Todo Bien (8533 Rozita Lee Avenue Suite 110) at Uncommons transforms into “La Isla De Las Muñecas,” or the Island of the Dolls, for a Halloween experience with themed drinks in festive glassware.

The Silver Stamp (222 E Imperial Avenue) transforms from a Midwestern basement bar feel to a spooky wonderland with some legitimately scary decor. Grab a seat next to a skeleton and try a new brew throughout October.

The Golden Tiki (3939 Spring Mountain Road) is putting up eerie decorations, hosting live music, and pouring tiki drinks for October. Some nights include special themes and costume contests like Super Heroes and Villains Showdown on October 18, Disco of the Dead on October 24, and Devil’s Night on October 30. Every Wednesday, paranormal expert, Will Bradshaw, tells haunted tales with Ghost Stories of the Golden Tiki. More programming details are available online.

The Stove NV hosts a Halloween party brunch and costume contest on Saturday, October 26, Sunday, October 27, and Thursday, October 31. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day, guests who come dressed to impress will be entered into the contest. At 3 p.m., the top three winners will win gift card and Champagne prizes. Brunch also means themed menu items and cocktails.

The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, will host a Halloween costume contest edition of its “Faded Karaoke” event with cash prizes for three winners. Registration starts at 8 p.m. and performances kick off shortly after 11 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29.

On Halloween night at Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar at Mandalay Bay, watch the Houston Texans play against the New York Jets during a costume party. From Friday, October 25 through Thursday, October 31, the Mandalay Bay sports bar will also serve specialty dishes like crispy bat wings with bloody dipping sauce, a witch’s brew ube milkshake with boba, and a grim reaper cocktail with Ketel One grapefruit vodka and chili liqueur.

Halloween returns to the 1920s at the Underground speakeasy at The Mob Museum. The party comes complete with craft cocktails, a costume contest, live jazz, and plenty of ghostly vibes on Thursday, October 31. Coco and The Sidecars will take the Underground stage at 8 p.m.​ Entry is free — but you’ll need to know the password (published daily on the bar’s Instagram Stories.)

The Rouge Room will host a costume contest karaoke night with a total of $3,000 in prizes, starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 31. Dress up and sing alongside the Busker Kings before a panel of judges throughout the night to win.

Halloween Dinners and Fun Food

The Electric Playhouse entertainment venue will host a dinner fit for vampires. The Undead Dinner Party is led by chef Josh Mouzakes with themed dishes like an entree of duck breast dripping with beet blood and a crispy maitake mushroom brain. Dessert takes the form of chocolate coffee cake with pumpkin crémeux and berry blood popsicle skulls. The Undead Dinner Party will take place at 7 p.m. beginning October 25, including Halloween night, and will wrap on Sunday, November 3. Tickets are $125 per person and must be purchased in advance. Costumes are encouraged — as are vampires and creatures of the night.

La Strega’s annual Witch’s Gala celebrates its fifth anniversary with themed dishes, drinks, and festivities on Friday, November 1 at 5 p.m. Chef Gina Marinelli’s menu features roasted pumpkin and burrata, caviar with chicken skins, and a signature cocktail. Come dressed in witch’s attire and ready to commune with a tarot reader in the witch’s tent. Tickets are $88 per person.

Ada’s Food and Wine (410 South Rampart Boulevard Suite 120) hosts a themed Beetlejuice Brunch on October 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Dress up for a Haunted Home Means Nevada Supper Club. A six-course dinner has courses like a Ghostly Cheese and Haunted Bread Plate, a Dark Chicken Enigma with a forbidden graveyard rice risotto, and a Sinister Sweet Temptation dessert. The dinner on Friday, October 25 at 7 p.m. is a team effort between Winnie and Ethel’s chef Aaron Lee and chef Jen Yee, the executive pastry chef of Wynn & Encore Las Vegas. Tickets are $125. Hallow-winnie & Ethel’s (1130 East Charleston Boulevard, Suite 140) will also offer free sundaes for all kids in costume on Saturday, October 26, Sunday, October 27, and Thursday, October 31.

Haunted Brunch at House of Blues Restaurant and Bar inside Mandalay Bay returns on Sunday, October 6 and Sunday, October 27. The immersive brunch features performances by dancers, acrobats, and comedians while customers nosh on a brunch buffet of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and more. Doors open at 10 a.m. and all the scariness starts at 11 a.m. Tickets for Haunted Brunch start at $59.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib Las Vegas will host the Fifth Annual Mystery Novelist Symposium murder mystery dinner event on October 30 at 7 p.m. Solve the case before dessert at this musical mystery with a three-course meal. Expect a dinner of eight-ounce roasted prime rib or roasted salmon filet. Tickets are $130.

On Halloween, the A.Y.C.E. Buffet at the Palms will offer a spooky feast with themed dishes such as pumpkin soup, monster meatloaf, and eyeball cake pops. The dessert bar will include an array of Halloween-themed treats.

Pinkbox Doughnuts has a line-up now through Thursday, October 31 with cute treats like a Pink frosted ube cake doughnut topped with spider web decor and a glazed raised ring with vampire teeth toy.

Stop by the Cookie Bar at Summer House at the Durango Casino October 17 through 31 for Halloween-themed treats like pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies and “Count Chocula” crispy treats. On October 31, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., Summer House will host a Halloween Costume Sweepstakes to win a $100 Summer House gift card.
